Do I have to have a Driver's License to race at Havasu 95 Speedway?
Driver's Licenses aren't required to race at Havasu 95 Speedway.
How old I have to be to race at Havasu 95 Speedway?
To race in the Bandolero class you have to be at least eight (8) years old. The Factory Stocks, Street Stocks, Late Models, Modifieds, Legends, and Team Factory Stocks, along with any traveling series that may visit
Havasu 95 Speedway require you to be at least fourteen (14) years old.
Can I race in whichever class I want?
You may race in any of the classes that race at Havasu 95 Speedway.
Although there is no required racing experience for classes such as
the Late Models and Modifieds, we recommend new drivers start in the
Factory Stock class as it is our beginner's class and the most inexpensive.
What do I need to race?
You need a car that fits it's divisions rules, and the driver is required
to have a firesuit, fire retardant gloves and shoes, and a Snell rated
fire retardant helmet from 2008 or later. Havasu 95 Speedway also
recommends drivers invest in a neck restraint such as a Hutchens Device
or HANS Device.
How much does it cost to race at Havasu 95 Speedway?
All drivers and team members are required to purchase Pit Passes. Pit
Passes cost $35 a day regardless of age, disability, handicap, etc.
How do I compete in the Points Standings?
To compete in our Points Standings you MUST buy a Havasu 95
Speedway Track Membership for $30 or an ASA Track Membership for
$90. Havasu 95 Speedway recommends the ASA Track Membership for
its driver's insurance that covers you not only while you are racing but also
on your travel to and from the racetrack. The added benefit to becoming a
track member is discounted Pit Passes. Once a member, Pit Passes only
cost $45 for two days.
Can I bring my child into the pits?
Havasu 95 Speedway allows all ages into the pits, but requires children
under the age of 18 to have a signed and notarized Minor's Release
that must be signed by both parents unless one parent has sole custody
or is deceased. Havasu 95 Speedway has a Notary on site for your
convenience.
